Sometimes, the smallest gigs end up being the most memorable. Reece Young’s sold-out show at YUNGBLUD’s B.R.A.T (Beautifully Romanticised Accidentally Traumatised) Store was exactly that. A tiny room packed wall to wall with fans, no space to breathe, and enough energy to make it feel like the whole of Denmark Street was shaking. After last years appearance at BLUDFEST Year 2, and with an All Points East set the very next day, Reece proved why he’s becoming one of the most exciting names coming through YUNGBLUD’s community.
YUNGBLUD’s B.R.A.T Store: More than a merch shop
The B.R.A.T Store has quickly become one of London’s coolest spaces for alternative music fans. Sitting in the heart of Denmark Street, it’s part merch store, part community hub, and part intimate live venue. Since opening, YUNGBLUD has used the space for surprise performances, album celebrations, fan meet-ups, and stripped-back gigs that give fans a chance to see artists in a way they never could in bigger venues.
The room itself is tiny, and that’s exactly what makes these shows special. There isn’t a barrier between the artist and the crowd. Everyone is right at the front, singing together and sharing the same space. The walls, ceilings, and any available space are covered with messages from fans to Yungblud, so it’s a really special and unique space to play.

From the moment Reece walked in, the room exploded. It might have been a sold-out show, but it still felt incredibly personal. He spent as much time laughing and chatting with the crowd as he did performing, making it feel more like a room full of friends than a headline gig.
His sound blends alternative pop, indie rock, and emotional songwriting, with huge singalong choruses that fit perfectly into the B.R.A.T crowd. Songs that already feel personal on record became even more powerful with every voice in the room singing them back.
It didn’t take long before the temperature became a talking point. The room was absolutely boiling. Within a few songs, everyone was drenched in sweat, but nobody cared. If anything, it just added to the atmosphere.
One of the night’s funniest moments came during the now traditional race for a merch T-shirt. Jacob, Reece’s guitarist, took on a member of the audience in a sprint across the tiny space. It had everyone laughing before the music started again, and it’s the kind of running joke fans have come to expect at Reece’s shows.
The celebrations didn’t stop there either. Happy Birthday was sung three separate times throughout the night. First, for Reece’s sister, then twice more for fans in the audience celebrating their birthdays. Each one turned into a full room singalong.
Even in such a small venue, the crowd still managed to open up circle pits. Somehow, people found the space, and Jacob couldn’t resist jumping straight into one himself during a song, making the crowd even louder.
The entire set never lost its energy. Fans screamed lyrics back, there was a cover of Iris by the good good dolls and phones were barely out because everyone was too busy singing, jumping, and having a great time. Reece looked genuinely overwhelmed by the turnout and kept thanking everyone for selling the show out.
Reece Young didn’t need a huge stage or a massive production to put on a brilliant show. A packed room, a sold-out crowd, and a band giving everything they had was more than enough.
The B.R.A.T Store continues to prove why it’s become such an important space for YUNGBLUD’s community, and Reece’s headline show felt like another special chapter in its growing history of intimate live gigs. If this weekend, from BLUDFEST to B.R.A.T Store to All Points East, showed anything, it’s that Reece Young’s momentum is only getting bigger.
