A new sound is emerging from Birmingham and it’s goes by the name of Dolours.

With their post punk and dirty rock, these guys are building their fan base from the bottom, up and they are doing it in spectacular fashion.

Dolours released their debut single “Blunt” back in June and have now released their follow up single “I AM A DOG”.

Diving into the erosion of identity under someone else’s influence. I Am the Dog explores how power, language and desire can warp a person until they accept a version of themselves they never chose.

“We wrote it all one afternoon at Liam’s. Arthur came in with these cool opening lines, and I just carried that vibe through into what became the chorus of I AM THE DOG. It all happened really naturally, which is what we love about working together. Liam brings so much to the table as a producer, and I think the strength of the songs really shows that.” – Danny (Frontman)

This single, with the pounding rhythm, jagged guitar sound and loud techno sound, has a catchy chorus that will repeating in your head, even after you have stopped listening.

Dolours have definitely announced their arrival in the alternative music scene.
