Cambridgeshire trio Eels! Eels! Eels! have a new four track EP being released on the 21st March 2026 and we have been given the exciting privilege to listen to it before it’s sent out to the world.

The band have only been about for a couple of years but have already been taking the music scene by storm. With their mix of punk, blues and psychedelic rock, they are ready to take on another level.

Band members Harris (guitar/vocals), Robbie (bass) and Michael (drums) have described this new EP “Eel Land” as a sharp descent into where myth, memory and marshland merge. They have crafted these four songs as affirmations on life as well as taking samples from fen folklore, forever staying faithful to their Cambridgeshire roots.

The EP itself, is four tracks, each with their own style and delivery.

The first song, “Owls”, has an thumping and upbeat rhythm, reminding you of 90’s indie rock, with a little bit of gritty guitar throughout. The chorus is catchy and Harris’ vocals have that husky sound that will grab you. A perfect start to the EP.

Second song is “Separated By The Cut”. It gives off a 70’s dirty rock, transporting you to a basement club full of haze and dark lights. The guitars throughout, hold down a hypnotic rhythm that makes you want to move to the beat. The vocals from Harris are strong on this track, matching the vibes of the instruments with the underground feel.

Third track is “Nothing To Care”. Slowing it down for this one, the relaxed sound gives a heady feeling that is perfect to listen to on a summers day. Imagining the sun beaming down and this song is playing, a perfect scenario. The guitars, switching from low bass tones to the soft melodic riffs, make this song a wonder on its own.

Lastly, “Warrior” finishes the EP in spectacular fashion. The hard guitar sound especially in the chorus and the interlude afterwards, feels so good in your ears. Harris, singing about how he is a warrior, almost feels like an uplifting chant to sing to yourself, staying positive and motivated.

Eels! Eels! Eels! have done an amazing job putting this EP together. This heady, psychedelic and atmospheric blend make this band stand out from the rest. The vocals, harmonies and the small riffs, make you confront a surprise at every turn. Things are definitely looking bright for the future with this band.
