On 10th March 2026, Scottish metal giants Bleed from Within delivered a powerful and memorable performance at Epic Studios as part of their “The Dying Sun Tour”. Known for their hard riffs, loud drums and mesmerizing stage presence, the band transformed the Norwich venue into a roaring hub of modern metal for one unforgettable night.

Formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 2005, Bleed from Within have spent the last 20 years establishing themselves as one of the UK’s most respected metal acts. Their sound blends metalcore, melodic death metal and hard metal, producing a style that balances melody with intense heaviness. Over the years they have released multiple studio albums including Humanity (2009), Empire (2010), Uprising (2013), Era (2018), Fracture (2020), Shrine (2022) and Zenith (2025), each helping expand their reputation on the metal scene worldwide.

Bleed From Within line-up features Scott Kennedy on vocals, Ali Richardson on drums, Craig “Goonzi” Gowans on lead guitar, Steven “Snev” Jones on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Davie Provan on bass. Together, the five musicians have built a reputation for their tight connection and high-energy live shows that leave audiences exhilarated and exhausted in equal measure.

As fans filled Epic Studios, the atmosphere inside the venue steadily intensified. The crowd was a mix of long-time followers and newer fans drawn in by the band’s recent material. From the moment the lights dimmed and the opening notes rang out, the energy in the room was electric. Epic Studios, an intimate venue compared with the band’s larger venue and festival stages, created the perfect environment for a close-up and personal performance.

The band launched into their set with “Zenith”, an explosive opener that immediately sparked excitement across the floor. Mosh pits formed quickly as the band powered through a setlist packed with fan favourites and newer tracks. The evening continued with “The End of All We Know”, “Pathfinder”, and “Alive”, each song driving the crowd into louder cheers and heavier headbanging.

Other highlights included “Violent Nature”, “A Hope in Hell”, and “Invisible Enemy”, which showcased the band’s trademark blend of aggressive riffing and soaring musical moments. Scott Kennedy’s booming vocals and growls filled the room while the twin guitars of Craig Gowans and Steven Jones’ layered crushing riffs with sharp melodic leads. Meanwhile, Ali Richardson’s drumming provided relentless momentum, locking in perfectly with Davie Provan’s thunderous bass lines.

Midway through the show, the band slowed down the pace with “Dying Sun” and “Levitate”, songs that demonstrated their ability to combine modern metalcore breakdowns with melodic hooks. Fans shouted along to every chorus, arms raised and voices echoing throughout the venue.

As the performance built towards its climax, Bleed from Within tore through “Leech,”, “God Complex”, and “A Depth That No One Dares”, each track pushing the intensity and energy higher. The set concluded with “I Am Damnation” and “In Place of Your Halo”, bringing the night to a dramatic and triumphant finish.

Beyond the music itself, the atmosphere was one of unity and raw energy. The band frequently interacted with the crowd, thanking fans for their support and encouraging the packed floor to keep the pits moving. The intimate setting made the show feel personal, with the band feeding directly off the audience’s enthusiasm.

By the end of the night, Epic Studios had witnessed a performance that perfectly captured what makes Bleed from Within such a powerful live act. Combining years of experience, relentless energy and a catalogue of crushing songs, the band delivered a show that left fans sweaty, smiling and already eager for their next return to the stage.
