Omega Bad made their long awaited return to their hometown of Norwich to headline a show.
With supporting acts Foxhaunt and KidPunk amping up the crowd, you knew it was going to be a good night.

The room was alive with anticipation, and as soon as the band, David Betts on vocals, Harri Coley on guitar, Dylan Lawrence on bass and Caleb Slota on drums, stepped on stage to the sound of cheers and applause, the show was off to a fantastic start.

The chords of “Vertigo” begin, the excitement level sores as the guys play their opening track. Leading on to “Control” and then blasting out a little treat of a “Chop Suey” cover.

There was a break of 5 minutes when there was a technical hitch with one of the leads on stage, but after that was sorted, the four lads bounded back in with “All I need” without any sign of the electrical problem, being completely professional and entertaining the crowd that had come to see them.

Slowing things down with “Fly With Me”, David’s vocal rang across the room beautifully, having everyone captured, nodding their heads to the beat until the heavy breakdown came.

Next, the band treated us to their rendition of “Break Stuff” by Limp Bizkit before showcasing a few new songs, including one called “DGAF” which we all know what that means.
The chants across the venue, joining in with the chorus, was wonderful to hear.

The shows last three songs, “Lost Without”, “Tell Me What You Wanna Know” and “Levitate” was the finale everyone had been waiting for. Mosh pits, jumping bodies and arms in the air, was the perfect ending to a perfect night.

Omega Bad are serious contenders on the scene. If you like your music heavy, loud and full of energy, with a little touch of soulful lyrics, these are your guys.
Big things are coming from this band, especially next year to keep your eyes and ears peeled to their social media accounts. You are not going to want to miss it.
