On the evening of Sunday, June 8, an intimate gathering of music lovers assembled at Providence Vegan Deli—an unexpected venue tucked away at 783 Hope Street, Providence, RI—to witness the amazing singer-songwriter Anthony Green (of Circa Survive and L.S. Dunes) perform a rare acoustic set. The event, which celebrated the deli’s first anniversary, drew a sold‑out crowd of just 40 ticket holders, creating an electric yet cozy atmosphere.

Anthony took the stage—just a few feet from his audience—joined by equally compelling acoustic support from Stephen Brodsky. This stripped-down setup showcased Anthony’s raw, emotional vocal style, unadorned by the usual production layers of his band performances. Attendees pressed close, some standing, others perched on the few available chairs, fully engrossed as he delivered both solo material and intimate renditions of songs from L.S. Dunes.

The gathering felt more like a house concert than a public show—personal touches abounded, and Anthony was visibly moved by how neatly the space came together for the occasion.

The deli celebrated the event on its social platforms, confirming its sold‑out status and thanking Anthony Green and Stephen Brodsky for a memorable evening.   Meanwhile, fans on Reddit, Twitter and Instagram urged locals to support the deli, praising both the restaurant and the experience.

As Providence Vegan Deli marks its one-year milestone (officially on June 10), it’s clear this show raised the bar. With expanded regular hours kicking in that week, the deli is poised to become a local cornerstone—not just for plant‑based food, but also for unique cultural experiences.

For those lucky enough to’ve snagged tickets, Anthony Green’s acoustic performance wasn’t just a concert—it was a communal celebration of veganism, creativity, and connection. Here’s hoping Providence Vegan Deli continues to blend great music with great food in the years to come.
