Exploding onto the stage with fierce, unfiltered energy, Winona Fighter wasted no time proving why they’re fast becoming one of punk’s most exciting new voices.
Playing a set before The Used is a big honor, however daunting. With a blend of riotous guitars, punchy hooks, and Coco Kinnon at the front, who commands the crowd like a firecracker on a short fuse, the band delivered a set that was equal parts chaos and catharsis. It wasn’t just a performance, it was a release, a rebellion, and a damn good time rolled into one sweaty, shout-along night.

Front woman Coco rules the stage with her powerful vocals and dance moves, it was a mesmerising scene to watch, and hear. Lead guitarist Dan Fusion and bassist Austin Luther, team up in the best way to being the band as a whole, their punk/emo sound that will feel like you are being transported back to the early 2000’s.

Playing a set full of songs from their recently released album, “My Apologies to the Chef,” the crowd was treated to a full-on experience of fun and therapeutic music. Playing Radio 1’s tune of the week, “Attention,” and treating the crowd to a cover of Blur’s “Song 2,” this band knows what people want, and they definitely deliver.

So if you love that 2000s sound and a fan of bands like Paramore and Blink 182, this band is definitely for you.
